Mens 4 Bowls

First to score 21, no limit on the number of ends played.

Having met a couple of days earlier in the Fixed Jack final, it was Graham Watkins and Jim Pryor competing for another trophy, this time the Mens 4 bowls, with Robin Freeman taking on the marking duties. Like many other finals over the weekend, it was level pegging early on, in fact after 10 ends, the score was 8-8. A slip by Graham allowed Jim to take a 4 and after that Jim crept away to take a 21-9 victory and retain the Richard Montgomery trophy. Chairman Mark Plyte was on hand again to present the trophy.
