A highly anticipated final for 2026 between our Chairman Mark Plyte and our Greenkeeper Adie Fordham, who would prevail? With Brian Wheatley marking, Adie took up the running in the early stages, generally in front and bowling well. However neither player could get away and after 18 ends the scores were tied at 11-11. It was then Mark who went up a gear scoring a further 10 shots to Adie’s 2 to take home the Mark and Janice Plyte sponsored trophy. Nolan stepped in on behalf of the club to make the presentation with Janice to husband, Chairman and now Novice Champion 2026, Mark.
