Our 2026 was a contest between the Pryor pairing of Chris and Jim versus Chris Newcomb playing with Bernie Crouch who was subbing in for the injured Ann Cullingworth. After 10 ends Chris and Bernie led 8-5, but that was to be the turning point as over the next few ends Chris and Jim, scored four 3’s, to run out 21-12 winners. A remarkable effort from Bernie who was only playing his third match after an injury ravaged season and Chris who plays regularly indoors and is able to quickly switch between the two very different conditions. On behalf of the club Chairman Mark Plyte presented the trophy to the victorious pairing of Jim and Chris Pryor.
